Aish is so cool cuz you make judiasm so exciting and sound like its the coolest thing to do!! its unreal how you take a regular concept and turn it into such excitement that when you watch it you think wow why am i not part of this awesome experience! you are the fire in our souls!! you ingnite the fire inside of every jewish soul. we ca never thank you enough!!

Preparing for inspiration is inspiring of itself
Is inspiration is the realization of faith or the enactment of faith? Is it believing or behaving? Both? Believing that inspiration is light, you must also hold that light purges darkness. So what is darkness in relation to Shavuot? Counting of the Omer? Darkness has a settling purpose, the darkness in between the flashes of light serve to prepare us to reflect & be still upon recognising the light? (I'm using your analogy here) If we had to walk in the dark to appreciate the light of Torah at Sinai, did the experience of that lead us to be bound by Torah or merely be awe-struck by the gravity/gesture of being given Torah? Both? See how many questions this video has sparked for me? Great stuff, Charles.

we didn't do 'nothing' for 49 days
it's great to inspire people and to give perspective that light follows the dark. respectfully: the 49 days we weren't doing 'nothing' we were learning certain parts of torah, keeping certain mitzvot and preparing to receive the torah. it was mainly a preparation time, a time of growth.

Mr. Harary serves as First Vice President for Residential Operations and Legal Counsel of RXR Realty, a multi-billion dollar real estate company based out of Long Island, NY.
