Great message.

The message is great ,although I don't pretend to be a Torah scholar,I think that the reason that the Jewish people were enslaved in Egypt was and is part of a great plan that God has for the redemption of the world. If the author has a source for his connection with the enslavement of Israel according to his conclusion in his article,I'd be interested in seeing it

good point

Your comment is very good. Actually, one of the commentaries explains that Paroh himself went to the work cite, started working and asked for help. So the Jews, who actually liked him up to that point went to help out (except the Tribe of Levi) and then were enslaved.

But your point that it was part of the Divine plan for them to be enslaved is absolutely right. But the way it came about was with Pharoh himself starting the work. I'm not sure that the article's point about them wanting to feel important is true, but the lesson for us, not be enslaved by our work, is really valid.

Slave to your ego video for Passover

Interesting... I have just had an experience in this world of mine which taught me just about the same teachings in this video. I also had a dream last night in which I was traveling with hundreds of people. I do not know exactly where I was going. I think it was to NY, USA, where I used to live for 20 yrs. Now I reside in Arizona. But to make it short, I almost lost my way since the Engineer of the train had taken us out of the first train, for some reason of his own, and we were to exchange pass. I was distracted watching a mother of three beautiful toddlers, they were all of one race, but the third one was oriental in his/her look. But it was a beautiful child. I was wondering why this woman was traveling with three small children, and one of them didn't seem to be hers. But she was treating them all as if they were her own. When the conductor called for the travelers to come to the train going our path, I was almost left behind. But I managed to go into the line happy to be on my path again. But when I woke up, I wasn't sure if I had taken the right train because I did not see the people familiar to me in the group. I wonder if Hashem, blessed is He, is trying to tell me something in relation to you website. Thank you very much for your video, received today Sunday, April 9, 2017.
