Agree 100% with R' Sytner | See Kohelet 10:20
In Kohelet / Ecclesiastes 10:20, we are warned about what we say, even while in the privacy of our own bedchambers, lest a little bird overhear us, and report the matter.Second, so grateful to HaKadosh Barukh Hu, that it was another member of 'the Tribe, NBA Commissioner, Adam Silver, who handed down the judgment on LA Clippers owner, Donald Sterling. One committed an act of Kiddush haShem, while the other disgraced 'the Name'.

chazal meant something else
great message. Thanks.
But echad bipeh viechad bilev meansa bad thing. It refers to a person who says one thing and means something else. It means the opposite of what the rabbi said it meant.
Otherwise a really great message to learn what to do/what not to do.
Have a great day

point well taken
about asking ourselves before we say something in private, how would we feel if what we said was in the public venue. On a social level, we have become so hypersensitized. Why should we pay any attention to the rantings of an 80 year old man, and his private conversation with a 28 year old woman? We shouldn't.

Would you think the same way if...
He was Christian, the team owner of lets say the Yankees and was "privately" telling his girlfriend that he did not want her associating with any of those Christ killing Jews, didn't want them in his stadium, didn't want them to attend games. Furthermore, he has a long history of hatred and bigotry - so this is not the first incident where he has shown his inner beauty! It's interesting how we as Jews rightfully become incensed when a public figure makes anti-Semitic statements but when the invective is directed at "others" and not us, the reaction of some is, "On a social level, we have become so hypersensitized," We shouldn't pay any attention to it.
