fear is not respect

Respect is not a good word for this it doesn't capture the idea. Yirah does't even mean respect. The highest level of this fear/awe is that when one contemplates Gods creation he will love him and then he will realize how he is a low creature and God is the ultimate good and the highest of most high. He will fear god with his standing in front of God with his flimsily knowledge. If one wants to learn this learn rambam hilchot yesodei hatorah

fear equals respect....

I love this. One values the opinion of the one respected and will do anything to have it.....the pearl of great price?
