A very clear and eloquent explanation.

I first heard these ideas from Ken Spiro around 15 years ago. You have done a superb job of bringing the information into the 21st Century, to the layman, through clear visuals and eloquent delivery. Many thanks J-TV!

This is why schools should not keep mum on religion

because the fact that schools are forced to keep mum on the Judeo-Christian roots of our society is why they need to start at Greek and Roman times; or else they'll get accused by progressives of theocracy, etc.

Why isn't this taught more in schools?

From the “Illustrated Classics” of my childhood to graduate school – and within the pervasive consciousness of Western civilization – I now note an ofttimes overt, occasionally subtle, but always present idealization of things Greek and Roman. My awareness of Jewish contributions to my own acculturation was almost nil (except in the area of religion), mistakenly crediting the aforementioned cultures for the core of my worldview. Your video has been a major paradigm-shifter for me, and I’m flabbergasted yet thrilled to realize that it was in front of my nose the whole time, in what I know as the Old Testament. Thank you!

Caring for others

Good Morning, I came to Judaism because I lost my partner in car accident many years ago. I had Jewish friends, I was lost. Much has happened in my life in the past 30 plus years. I'm disabled, had an input into Family Law, after my children grew up, and left home.
Like the Ruderman Foundation, I believe in the caring of those less able. Disabled people have the equal right to life. Times were cruel all those years ago.
