A BLESSING TO THE JEWISH PEOPLE

Ms. Bialik- My admiration for you knows no bounds. I cannot say that I am familiar with your TV shows- as my family made the choice to not have a TV. Nevertheless, I see in you a model of bravery and depth of soul. Your name indicates a message that goes to the core of Torah identity. There is a statement of "Ayn MAYIM ellah Torah"- essentially meaning that Torah is likened to water- reviving the body and nourishing the soul. As a Ba'al Teshuvah and an urban educator- I would love for my students to look to you as a teacher of making the decision to put PROPRIETY over PROFIT!! I know that the challenges you faced and continue to face are far from easy. Yet with your Emunah and perseverance- you serve as a guiding light to the Jews of Hollywood and beyond. Klal Yisroel is blessed beyond words to have such a brave Torah Warrior such as you, Ms. Bialik- in our midst. I hope that 1 day my wife and daughters will have the honor of meeting you and your noble family. Wishing you blessings and continued success. Respectfully Your Student- The Urban Educator

To each his own

Who and when created a formula to which we must adhere when we express our own perspective of following Mitzvor?

Beautiful!

It’s as simple as that! Thank you

Despicable Larry David

I love SNL and used to love Larry David until last night. Larry David's "joke" about meeting women in concentration camps was beyond sickening! It was horrific, disgusting and vile! Larry David and all of his works should be boycotted by everyone! Lorne Michaels is no better for allowing that monologue to be aired. BOYCOTT Larry David, NBC, SNL!!!

So True!

Thank you, Martin Rub. I WAS a huge fan of Larry David until I read about his "comedy" on SNL. I actually read about it in the NYT (another anti Israel rag but it was there so I read it. I'd never subscribe). My kids and I, up until last week, would make a night out of watching "Curb Yiur Enthusiasm". Not anymore. Not sure about what my kids will do but I've got six million on my side. I'll never watch his show again and I encourage all people with a sense of decency, Jew or non Jew, to boycott him.
