another one like this I was so happy to read your story and remember a similar experience I had in Albany, New York. Once I arrived with minutes to spare before yom tov due to similar train problems. At the station, I was frantically searching for a taxi but at the stand they would only share rides to various destinations, all in one trip. For some unknown reason when I told the man coordinating rides that I was in a rush, he helped me to get a ride on my own. Once I explained to the driver that I had to get to my destination before sundown, he said right away that he had a Jewish friend from the city and understood completely. He also battled traffic and took a lot of turns to get me to my destination on time all for the few dollars he would normally charge in a shared ride (although I gave many times that in tip!!:) It''s truly amazing how Hashem gives us the opportunity to meet such wonderful people just when we need them!!!
