another one like this
I was so happy to read your story and remember a similar experience I had in Albany, New York. Once I arrived with minutes to spare before yom tov due to similar train problems. At the station, I was frantically searching for a taxi but at the stand they would only share rides to various destinations, all in one trip. For some unknown reason when I told the man coordinating rides that I was in a rush, he helped me to get a ride on my own. Once I explained to the driver that I had to get to my destination before sundown, he said right away that he had a Jewish friend from the city and understood completely. He also battled traffic and took a lot of turns to get me to my destination on time all for the few dollars he would normally charge in a shared ride (although I gave many times that in tip!!:) It''s truly amazing how Hashem gives us the opportunity to meet such wonderful people just when we need them!!!

wow you really got me at the edge of my chair with my heart pounding real fast... what a story! I just recently decided to look out for Hashgacha Pratis in every detail of my life and I can prove that if you really try to see Hashem's Hand in everyday life you will see it. Hashem controls every single detail and orchestrates every happening that occurs in your life - if its not a "Eliyahy Hanavi" kind of story helping out- then its something else- money at the exact time that you needed it, a phone call, a job opportunity that "just came up"- our test is to see that when the going gets really tough and we really have no idea what or how we will survive a situation- is to raise our hearts upwards to Hashem and call out to him and beleive that He is our benevolent Father and that He can do anything and everything. Taking a lesson from the glorious Spring season- Hashem made that certain trees first bloom with the most breathtaking blossoms, pink, lilac, ivory -He didn't have to make it so pretty - but He did because he cares about us and loves us and knows that we enjoy this gorgeous part of the tree-blooming process! Thanks for sharing your story and for inspiring me to write this comment to share with others chizuk that we all so desperately need (each person in their own personal situations..)

G-d has truly blessed America
Stories like this remind me why I thank Hashem everyday that I live in the United States. It even makes me proud to line in New Jersey!
