Interesting thoughts

Interesting... but what about the golden calf? That came after the Israelites expressed their determination to do whatever God asked - if only they could hear it from Moses, and not the voice of God. And the golden calf was certainly not the end of idolatry and rebellion. I don't think it was about Israel becoming great, but a Great and loving Lord who was and is willing to forgive those who will repent, realizing their need for salvation that comes from outside themselves.

Well done..

Nice piece to share with teens. Older folks might have a problem with the pace, but kids will stay with him easily.
