Finally beginning to understand
Rabbi, excellent presentation. I read hebrew but don't understand it and never really understood the meaning of the Rosh Hashannah service. To me it was always looked upon as drudgery, 7 hours of listening to jibberish but it is something to be endured, not cherished or valued. I'm 46 years old and your explanation was the first that breaks down the portions of the service and the meaning behind each. I'll be looking at it in a whole new way from now on and I thank you.
