What an amazing man. Such Kiddush HaShem. Only Am Yisroel could produce such a G-d centred man who was also a man of action and devotion to his fellow Jews.
Roi Klein's name should be remembered forever. His heart-wrenching sacrifice has touch my soul deeply.
Thank you Roi, and your IDF compatriots, for taking care of our Holy Land, even with your very lives. May HaShem bless you in every way, in every time, B'H.

Major Roi Klein Angelic Encounter on Battlefield
The following has been printed on several sites on the internet. Have any of you ever heard this angel story?
Real Miracles and Angel Visits
Israeli Colonel Klein had taken a unit of 20 Israeli soldiers into the midst of one of Lebanon's border cities where the fighting was fierce. He led his men into a courtyard that was walled up around believing it provide a place of cover and rest from enemy fire.
Suddenly, someone tossed a hand grenade out of one of the windows above them, and as it hit the ground, Klein threw his body over the hand grenade and cried out shouting: "Schema Yisrael Adoni Elohinu, Adonai Ekhad." Hear O Israel, the L-rd our G-d, the L-rd is One!
As he shouted the last words he would ever speak in this holiest of prayers He honored his God. The grenade blew up killing him but sparing all of his soldiers from death. Some were slightly injured from shrapnel but none had life threatening wounds because of Colonel Klein's actions.
It seems afterward some of the soldiers saw an angel standing over the lifeless body of the Colonel. Some of the wounded were taken to a hospital and wanted to speak about this but they were told to say nothing. However, some of them could not keep silent. Who could keep silent after seeing an angel?
The word got out through some of their parents. The mainstream media here has maintained silence, and the army has ordered them not to speak about their experience, but our sources are bringing us this awesome news! We are seeking to contact and go meet some of these wounded men....Pray for the Lord to open a door to speak with those who have seen one of God's messengers and can now be a witness that He is real. He is alive; He is the living God!
Colonel Klein called upon the living God and gave Him glory seconds before He died saving his comrades. God showed up immediately and sent one of His messengers to reveal that He was there with them, and now Colonel Kline is with their God!

A Real Man
A rare act of total altruistic heroism. His family must be proud and consolated. We should be humble. And proud to have brothes like Roi Klein.

I am deeply touched and truly inspired by this man in making the ultimate sacrifice for his comrades. He lived as he died loving his G-d with every fibre of his being and equally loving his neighbours. We need to all learn from his example regardless of the personal cost. May HaShem continue to bless Sarah Klein and the whole family as they bravely face each new day!!!

Our Indubitable Hero
Ohad Moskovitz dedicated a song to Roi in one of his concerts a few years ago. It's unbelievable. Roi has been my hero ever since I heard the song. I am continuously amazed and awed by his submissiveness to his country and quick thinking to throw himself upon the gernade. Only Jews.

May His Memory be A Blessing
Words cannot describe how this story of Roi Klein's ultimate sacrifice and his complete dedication to his faith has impacted me. I am speechless, utterly humbled, and in awe . In an age where people live to fufill their own gratifications, where the media portrays that the way to happiness is by feeding into greed at the expense of others, where selfishness is everywhere, how can we understand the ultimate act of selflessness that Roi Klein did in the last moments of life. The letter that he wrote to his wife was so moving and touched me to the inner core. Wow is all I can say- wow. What he beautifully expressed is what every Jew should aspire to- to truly live is to fufill the will of Hashem, to serve G-d with all of one's being, to care for the welfare of Kal Israel. May G-d provide strength to his wife , children, and family. Please G-d, let the holiness and santicty of Roi Klein's life merit the coming of moshiach

I'm so so so sorry for your loss.

Roi Klein AND his wife are true heroes. Their incredible love and idealism shook me to my old, cynical core. Thank you for this touching video. Can anyone be the same person after watching it?

To Sarah Klein
I married last august late at the age of 47 to a gentleman of 61 years of age.
late marriages have their own specific challenges and lately I felt that
the connection to my spouse (who is a very sincere supporter of Israel and it is on this basis that our connection started in the 2006 Lebanon War) is not as powerful as it should be. The letter of Roi to you reminded me clearly was a Jewish marital bond is all about. I so needed to let you know that....
People like Roi epitomize Jewishness.
May he enjoy "lelogvul" love and joy in the closeness of the Almighty .

The Memory of the righteous for a blessing
Thank you for reminding us there are people in our midst who embody the traditional Jewish perspective of life, even if they must pay the ultimate price in order to save others. They honor the God of our fathers and His teachings, every day they live as well as in their deaths. May God avenge Roi's death. May he soon be reunited with those he loved at the arrival of Moshiach, whose reality he believed in so deeply. Roi, you humble us. Your example obligates us to become a better human beings and better Jews each day God grants us on earth. May Roi's memory be an eternal blessing.
