1,2 & 3 episodes were very entertaining, music by Peter Himmelman was perfect.

It's only a dream
I too didn't want this to end. Seeing how much other viewers felt the same way may indicate our hunger for real direction in our everyday life! The ending is really alright because life is this way...the future is not known by us, only by God alone. It's also cool that the last episode ended with a Rabbi and a grandpa leading the confused young man into the "next episode". They are cutting the young man loose from his nest so he can now make his life for himself. It's really exciting. He can now write the next episode! We can too!

Wasn't Elliot Gould once married to Barbra streisand?

I missed Episode 1 but if it was as good as Episode 2 I can't wait to watch it and especially Episode 3 to see what happens to Andy. Lying makes it difficult to love someone without reservation because you never know if what they share with you is real or not. It's a lot harder not to lie when for instance someone asks if you like their outfit and you think it's horrible. So far I'm managing to say 'it's just you' but it is hard not to say 'it's horrible' especially when you don't like their taste in clothes at all. Would appreciate others thoughts on that particular situation. The most amazing thing in the whole world is the fact we can trust our Heavenly Father absolutely because He cannot lie. Amen

For the sake of sholom
The Jewish rule is that In such a case one should say it's nice, rather than hurt the persons feelings. It is not a sin. Hashem. Himself changed Sarah's words to avoid hurting Avrohom's feelings .see Beraishis.

Are you kidding? With morals and common sense like that, I would even vote for him to be the Prime minister of Israel. G-d bless him (and you too).

Lying Won't Get You To the Life You Want
Yes, I've had the experience of taking on more than I could chew because of embellishments on my capabilities. However, it became so overwhelming that my career in that company ended miserably. Since then, I found that lying about anything, big or small (white lies) won't give you the joy, peace, appreciation and freedom in life. Lying leads to more lies and causes one to be shackled to someone you don't know.
May 7, 2012 9:46 PM
Can't wait to watch the next 2 episodes.
May 6, 2012 4:35 PM

Love Elliott Gould - he's so great, I wish he'd run for president, I'd vote for him!
May 5, 2012 5:06 AM
Interesting. Looking forward to next week's cnapter.
Actors kept a good pace. Dialog crisp. Cliffhanger question: Will Andy lie or tell the truth in his interview?
Or will he find a job in a pickle factory?
May 4, 2012 6:38 PM
I started my current career by lying on my resume
I had nearly no work history for several years after college and to get my foot in the door, I had to liberally embellish my resume and claim experience that I never had to get my foot in the door at temp agencies that would never have considered me for the positions I was applying for without some prior background. I was successful at bluffing my way in through interviews, which led to me being hired, and soon I did gain valid, actual experience. Since then I have never lied on my resume. The only problem is that initial lying led me into a succession of jobs, that while decent-paying and permitting me to support myself and a family, I've never liked or enjoyed, so I guess that's been my punishment.
May 3, 2012 7:40 PM
why only three??!!!
I hope this will have more than three episodes..... aish, you've done it before: can your viewers get this thing onto the today show and into the ratings ......
And good on you Elliot for using your G-d given talent to give something to your community!
May 4, 2012 8:03 AM
I think Elliott Gould gives an enormous amount for his community and for Israel, just look at all he does for Chabad.

May 2, 2012 11:00 PM
Eight minutes to pass on sage "distance from falsehood" advice? Sigh. I guess there is an audience for this material, but it isn't me :).
May 3, 2012 5:55 AM
missing the point
To me it seems like the greater point is, "have the humility to get out of yourself, acknowledge another approach to life, and you may then begin to discover truth". The simplicity of the message "distance from falsehood" seems appropriate to Andy Ling at this stage. Maybe as the character embraces personal responsibility and grows, they could explore more sophisticated moral quandaries. Meanwhile, the show is funny and awesome!
May 3, 2012 4:35 PM
Maybe "your slip is showing"...
Do you realize that your attitude reveals more about you than the video? Since something about it offended you I think it would be good for you to check your heart and see what doesn't belong there.
May 2, 2012 10:54 PM
Could you possibly put a volume-control on your display-machine....?

Great seeing Elliot Gould in a comedy again!
Elliot Gould is one of America's great ones when it comes to actors. I can't wait to see all three episodes. I think you may have hit a home-run with this video!
May 2, 2012 6:07 PM
This was a great video! I can't wait or part 2! Elliot Gould is a wonderful actor!
May 2, 2012 6:02 PM
too cliche for me
While I love humor, a wink of the eye, the outlandish, I feel this was none of that I was disappointed with Elliot Gould's acting and the lines were totally predictable
May 8, 2012 1:55 PM
on what planet?
Which part was predictable? When he quoted the philosopher Grotius, when Andy didn't know his mother's name, or when Elliot Gould told his grandson to work in a pickle store?
May 2, 2012 5:39 PM
I loved it! :-) Please release the next episode asap!
May 2, 2012 5:03 PM

Very funny & timely-loved the characters, esp. Grandpa
I loved seeing Elliot Gould embrace his inner "alta cacker". I aspire to having the gravitas to pull that off in about 20 years. Can't wait to see where this is going...more...more...more!!!

I enjoyed part 1 and I am looking forward to parts 2 and 3.
In this day of unemployed people who must try to find their way it is a fresh look into the orthodox recommendations.
2, Take a job even if it is below your goal (i.e. pickle store sales)
3. Look into your Jewish roots to find what you need.
May 2, 2012 4:00 PM
one little thing
Aaargh! I'd hoped the newest email was to announce part 2. Can' wait!
But, one little thing: Andy not knowing his mother's birthday season. I realized that this just enhanced our appreciation of his utter loserness but it didn't quite ring true.
May 2, 2012 3:53 PM
Phenomenal. Brilliant. Throughly entertaining.
Can't wait for part 2.
May 2, 2012 5:36 AM

food links us in common ground
gefilte fish serves as an ambassador for Jewish cultural life, in the hope that food links us in common ground. the united nation reps should eat when they meet, and at the least it would get some good recipes along with treaties.
