not ready to respond or fight the people responsible? Is that what you call virtuous behavior? The Qu'ran demands tribute from infidels. What do you think we are giving them across the globe.....? We are not really speaking about the positive virtures of our heritage, to them- we are asking them to not kill us..... And that is our polic- that's what you are doing- Asking the world to join us in not having them kill us, because we're... good. But Islam doesn't see it as .... good. They see it as weak and us as begging... and they say so. Pretty please, understand our goodness, we are saying. And of course, we are failing, because the arguments are false. To them.... they are false. So our 'positive virtures' are not positive virtues but something to be destroyed, by them, and in fact- we make them stronger by stating that we will do more 'good', instead of describing what they advocate and do. And we don't see that. We refuse to see that. With all due respect.... so do you :^)

Mark, u make a good point. A very good point. We need to recognize WHO the enemy is. And fight it. BUT, with all that, I think Aish is talking to us regular people, people who are not ready or capable to go out and fight the PEOPLE responsible for the evil. What we can do is respond with goodness and try to make this world a better place. Furthermore, I, as a believing Jew, believe that everything that happens in this world is a message from God. In this case a wake-up call. By doing good we ARE fighting the forces of evil. Just as to banish darkness we need light, to combat the cold we need warmth, so too to fight cruelty we need kindness, to fight evil we need goodness! Thank you! the video was powerful and thought provoking.

Why?

Why not show the slaughtering of the pregnant wife and rabbi, ripped apart- she a pregnant women- ripped apart whilst alive, in movie form, and all the other horrific muslim- ISLAMIC slaughters so that the finger of guilt can be pointed not at some 'evil doers' as this has been asserted. These were MUSLIMS, trained by MUSLIMS, and unless we show that this is MUSLIM, ISLAMIC, mohammad inspired slaughter of kafirs, including a pregnant women minding her own business and her husband teaching religion, then there will never ever be any peace. Only the possiblity of SUBMISSION by them. And they are winning. Evil wins unless good people do something about it. Good deeds... yes, very important. BUT NAMING THE EVIL, PUTTING IT UP IN LIGHTS AND SHAMING IT, EXCORIATING IT, will go a whole lot farther, than say, being nice to a stranger. Be nice to strangers, be nice to anyone, muslims included, but NAME THE EVIL AND STOP PRETENDING IT AWAY.
