If I ever learned the meaning of hatred and evil that would be HAMAS!

Peace, Oslo Worked, does this?

In the 1990's things were better, the Palestinian Authority had a semblance of government, Clinton was a capable mediator, and tensions were reduced. That is about all that can be expected. A 2012 Ceasefire was a good idea. Some sort of interim deal should have come about in the last year, but Obama unreasonably insisted on a complete return to pre 1967 borders and Israel proposed little.

Now is this going to succeed. There are 1,000 murders a year in Chicago; why did this have to degenerate into an all out war. It seems like World War 1 where a series of miscalculations caused a prolonged and sad war.

There should be some type of ceasefire and work towards some type of interim agreement. Right lies somewhere between give up all the land and go back to 19676 and nothing will work but constant war. Mediation is needed to reduce conflict, tension, and loss of human life. Relative calm should not have been so easy to break.

Shoshana -Jerusalem, July 14, 2014 7:24 PM

Are you for real?

You must be kidding. Almost 2,000 Jews died because of the Oslo agreement. Clinton capable? Of what?
The Arabs don't want peace. Their charter calls for the complete destruction of Israel, G-d forbid.
If you are already on this web cite, so read the articles about Hamas. Yes, the Arabs wants "piece" - a piece of Jerususem, a piece of Haifa, of Tel Aviv, etc.

Ben, July 24, 2014 10:51 PM

No, Oslo did not work

NONE of the hopes for Oslo came to pass.

ALL of the predictions of Oslo's critics and protestors came to pass.

NONE of Oslo's supporters have admitted it.

Israel and their enemies have irreconcilable differences.

Israel has nothing to offer Hamas, and the PA for that matter that they want.

Hamas and the PA have nothing to offer that Israel wants.

Any cease-fire or truce that is less than permanent is a waste of time.

What is needed is to utterly defeat the enemy so that they permanently lose hope. As long as they hope of defeating Israel this thing will never end. Anyone who truly cares about the Arabs will try to convince them of this before they hurt more of their helpless people trying. Because the big brave masked shooters and chanters won't fight like men; they are busy hiding behind skirts and teddy bears.

We need a direct Divine intervention. The problems between Israel and the Palestinians is beyond the scope of both people to resolve. Only Hashem can resolve this. It is true he can use us( ignorant humans) to help but at the end of the day it is in his hands.

Doron Maizel, July 10, 2014 11:22 PM

Our hands are extentions of "HASHEM''S" Hands

Our hands ARE extentions of "HASHEM''S" Hands. During our Exodus we read,"Why do you cry out to me ?"(HASHEM sais to Moishe Rabbeniu while the Egyptian army was pursuing us) There is something we are not doing or are doing wrong. If we as individuals and as a People do True Tshuva, then "HASHEM" will do His part and defeat all our enemies and grant us peace and prosperity in the Land. The Posuk sais that we, 'Israel are HASHEM'S first born' , so more is expected of us. We are judged harder than the Nations because we should know better. 'To who much is given, much will be required.' He who lives and Is Blessed forever grants His People Chesed. (Mercy). We must Love our fellow Jews as ourselves and learn to feel True empathy for our enemies as well. (while properly defending ourselves and our Land.) It is a tough balance act, but with HASHEM'S Partnership it Can and Will Be done!

Peace and security must become a reality once and for all

When an enemy refuses to surrender, refuses to change, refuses to allow security and peace to thrive both within and beyond its borders, then it is every peace-loving nation's duty to subdue, and if need to eradicate such an enemy for the common good. May God assist our world, indeed His world, His people to reach this goal.

Am yisrael chai (עם ישראל חי)

Israel must do what it has to do to survive!

(27) Rebecca, November 25, 2012 11:30 PM

It is time to right the wrong. Ethnically cleansing Jews from their rightful land and properties of Gush Katif in 2005 was an immoral act. As a result a mini terror state was created in it's place. Israel needs to rid itself of the terrorists and let those Jewish families return to their rightful homes to rebuild. Only then will there be peace!

Uncondional Surreder demand by Israel,to Hamas

one town at a time. The current military strategy makes it apear that the more it is bombs the bigger is winner mentaality. Inteaof attacking . Israel should have forrced the people near the boder with Eygpt to relocat to relocate eater by acepting sactionary from Esrael to leaving their town for another location the the GAZA territory. Motivate them by dropping a single block buter 15,000 pund bom on top of the tunnels but very clos to their town, IT will feel like an eathquake. IIf they stay, they are enemy cobatants Drop the second bomb on the town. contiue the process until you reach the sea Eygpt is so corupt that idsit is not capable of controlling its border with GAZA. . this cease fire will not hold because the flow rocket makig bill of materials will continue to flow into Gaza. The reponse ro Hamas's war of attriction must be toal scorced earth total war.

sandy, November 23, 2012 9:03 PM

True and final peace can only happen with conversation. Hatred breeds hatred and bombs breed more bombs. All of this is easier said than done but diplomacy is the only way, not the threat of more bomb attacks, kind of like threatening your children so they behave better. Israel's president/government must sit down with Hamas, Egypt, Syria, whomever, and all parties must earnestly ask and even beg each other for an ever lasting peace treaty, not a temporary one. We’ve been there, done that. Start somewhere to as for permanent resolution not temporary. It is how you say things, as well as what you say that creates the response. Israel can even offer to help the Palestinians with their knowledge and technical expertise in all areas of daily living including building houses, schools and certainly hospitals and patient care, as Israel has the ability to do all of these things. This would be a win win for everybody. Someone has to reach out with a welcoming hand. It is more likely to come from us than from them. I love visiting Israel. I have family there and I am always concerned for them. Although I do not consider myself a very religious person, I do believe in G-d and I am sure that G-d would be very happy if we did something to stop this on-going war and the hatred that it generates. After all, doesn't the bible, old and new testament teach us to love thy neighbor. Enough is enough.

sandy in wonderland

You seem to be so sensitive to life's creatures but not to life's realities. Your elixir for peace has been tried by Israel for decades since the war of '48, wanting to make peace with neighbors. The world thought that offering economic incentives would nudge the arabs toward tolerating Israel.
the result- rich warlords and not a single building built for the people's benefit- Billions of dollars in war monger's pockets!
Do you not like to understand history, did you miss lessons on current events since the 50's where every arab dictatorship needed the small tiny scapegoat Israel to blame all their troubles on. There is ongoing war simply because Israel has on its own, with outside/inside misguided pressures, not battled the enemies to its' rightful conclusions. Would you have negotiated with all the major tyrants in the world while they wanted to conquer the world?
Hashem made man with tremendous capabilities for good and some with ruinous evil inclinations. we have our inner battles and we have societal battles. Due to influences of oil, severe brainwashing of children and refusal to tolerate Jews on their natural turf close to their homes, the arabs are setting the stage for their ultimate destruction. they cultivated it and now they will earn it with Hashem's help. The rest of the world will always condemn Israel, but you will see how much respect we will earn when
following the ways of Torah and defending ourselves the proper way. In the end, the remnants of the arab world will
finally realize they have been the most duped people in the world, by their own sick leaders and then you might see them fostering true peace, establishing a national opera and orchestra, protecting women & children and joining the human race, not maintaining their rat race.

Bayla, July 10, 2014 4:53 PM

Open your history textbook

I'm afraid you're wearing blinkers, my dear. Israel has been trying 'diplomatic tactics' and 'peace talks' for years - I think it's about time we realize that terrorists don't talk the same language as us - they do NOT want to 'surrender' to peace talks - they want one thing: and that is TO KILL THE JEWS and wipe every last trace of Israel off the map!!! I don't think there's going to be a 'win-win for everybody' as long as Mashiach doesn't come rescue us from our haters...May he come soon. Amen.

Pinchas Levin, July 10, 2014 6:37 PM

We don't hate Palestinians, and never did.

"Hatred breeds hatred and bombs breed more bombs." Such nonsense has gotten us where we are now. We have NEVER taught nor preached hatred of Palestinians, but hatred is taught to their children like Torah is taught to ours. We must abandon the silly "Hatred breeds hatred" mantra, right the wrong that was done to Israel and her citizens by abandoning Gaza to terrorism. Israel should 1) annex Gaza, 2) restore the Israeli population that was displaced, and 3) make full restitution to all Israeli citizen who suffered losses as a result of such folly.

Catherine Yael, July 11, 2014 1:01 AM

What?

A welcoming hand?
It will be ripped off your arm and thrown back into your face!

(25) Eliu, November 22, 2012 2:07 PM

Stop doing war

I pray that Palestinian people get a wise man/woman that cares for his own people, and stop doing war against Israel, and start building schools, hospitals, education to Palestinians. Hate is ruling this nation. Pray for Israel, pray for Palestinian .

(23) Scott, November 17, 2012 1:23 AM

All saved

May the Almighty save those that can be saved - i.e. bring total conviction and cause the enemies of Yisrael to repent of their wickedness. Keep all the IDF soldiers and their families from harm.

(17) Jonathan Stein, November 15, 2012 2:59 PM

Solution

Continue to attack Hamas day and night until the rockets stop. If it takes the complete destruction of Gaza so be it. No other country would live under the conditions that Israel makes its citizenry live under. The non response by Israel to protect its citizenry makes it complicit in the ongoing terrorist activity. The streets of Gaza should look like a river of blood.

(16) RadarRecon, November 15, 2012 1:43 AM

Time for a clean sweep

It's time for the IDF to sweep through Gaza, house to house, to find weapons and destroy the house. Convince the peaceful Gazans (if there are any) to band together to overthrow their evil leaders and take over their own government.

ANDREW, November 15, 2012 4:04 PM

YES , GO ISRAEL

ITS TIME, YES!

(15) Eric, November 15, 2012 12:41 AM

Only the Creator

There can be no hope for Israel in USA. Sadly we will now watch our own die for political expediency. While many, many in America love and support Israel, we are too few. But the Almighty will not stand by. Israel needs to turn to Him, as they did in the days of Hezekiah and Josiah. And we know, based upon God's Word, they shall. Let it be now!

Ursula, November 15, 2012 10:57 AM

Fighting Hamas

Turn off electricity and water to Gaza when they attack and target terrorists for assassination. The more incon-veniant life gets in Gaza, the more the mass of people will be angry with Hamas.

(13) Rafi, November 13, 2012 9:46 PM

Take ten acres of Gaza for each rocket that lands in Israel

Israel should permanently annex ten acres of Gaza fir each rocket received from Gaza. This should be passed by the Knesset and published globslly prior to comming into effect. Let Hanas chose how much land they want to give up. Let the world know Hamas is making a free choice.

wrong message

It is so sad that people are taking the wrong message about war in Israel. The one and only thing we can do is pray to the One Above to send Mashiach TODAY!!!

Incredibly powerful! THANK YOU

This is the first time I have logged onto anything quite so effective. Sadly we are not in position to offer financial support but will surely pray! and will share the site with others.

Time for an answer to terrorism.

The IDF has held back for 60 years. The time is now to not hold back but unleash the full brunt of our military forces upon our enemies. The Torah states that we extend peace toward our enemies. Then when all of these peaceful extensions have failed do we go to war. How many more peaceful extensions do we need before more innocent Israelis are killed or worse kidnapped? The time is now to unleash the full fury of the IDF on the PLO. Not to kill but to drive out of our country fully. The time is now. Lets get it done.

How often is Sderot being bombed?

Very compelling video!! Where can I find out how often Sderot is being bombed. Is it still on a daily basis?Of course, your video makes me realize how the threat is always there. But what newsgroup or agency actually reports each rocket fired into Sderot? Also, what other cities in Israel receive these bombings? I suspect I have no concept of how widespread these bombing threats are on a daily basis for the people of Isreal. Where can I find such information? Thank You for your video! Shalom!

(1) Anonymous, July 29, 2009 2:32 AM

No matter how many times I watch it, it always strikes me anew each time. It makes you feel for the people in Sderot in an easy to relate to way. It's not too gory but it portrays Sderot. May they be able to live thier lives in peace.
