besides the fact the we the viewers should be promoting this video on aish.com as part of doing our part, any intentions of showing this to the world at large?
But I never considered Clinton a true friend of Israel or anyone. Showing him and Arafat could mislead those who don't know about them...

I don't anderstend that anybody doesn't want peace. Who likes to see killing, everywhere and everyday? They, and you, and me like our children. See Future, not Past! It's good that Israels University has arabs and yewishs students. Good sign.
February 14, 2010 1:58 AM
They don't want peace!
I agree with the video except for one thing. The Arabs don't want peace and will never want peace and so Israel should see that and figure out what to do about that. I got this email about this Arab who was part of one of these extremist groups until he realized that it was wrong and he said, every time they get peace and make compromises, that's when they throw bombs. They don't want peace and we shouldn't be fooled by them.

Chava is correct...
Stop giving away Israel; in any form, for any reason!
February 11, 2010 8:29 AM
I am hoping for a different video:
I wish we could make the following video and live up to it: I am Israel, and I don't wait for years to stop the Chamas bombs, because my citizens are too dear to me. I am Israel and I don't sacrifice my soldiers lives for saving the lives of palestilian "civilians".I am Israel and I don't give my land to my enemies. I am israel, and I know from experience that it doesn't make peace if I give land, guns or financial support to my haters and enemies. My enemies will only stop bothering me, if they are kept in fear. I am Israel, I want the land of Israel united with the people of Israel, the Torah of Israel and the God of Israel. My prophets say that if I live up to the commandments of my God, then there will be peace in the land.

Very inspiring and touching video. I would love to move to Israel, but recently retired to Utah from the east coast. I am concerned about the colleges in the U.S. and the liberal hate Israel "professors" and the Muslim Student Unions that are against Jews and Israel.

Peace Now? They caused the boodshed!
Yeh, I know it's not "politically correct" to blame other jewish organzations, but come on! This organization has participated in thousands of demonstartions for the expulsion of Jews from their homes and homeland! THEY are partially responsible for the expulsion of Gush Katif residents & the resulting missle on Shderot! THEY ARE NOT ISRAEL! They are more Palestinian lovers than their fellow Jews & have a warped sense of history & reality. Couldn't you have chosen other pictures???

If my people will humble themselves and pray
Doesn't this humble us! The Lord is calling his people back.
Back to himself! The Lord has taught me to fight.
Not with weapons, since I'm a civilian, but by his mighty power! Then there will be a day when we won't have to train for war no more.
Like the country song, "If you don't stand for something, you will fall for anything" This clip is to remind us we need to stand for Israel, even while we are here in the united states.
During the good times and the bad times.
One stand I'm taking is fighting that Palestine doesn't get their own state. Starting right here with the United States foreign policy! The United States says they are pro-Israel, but they are taking the side of Palestine. Thinking if Palestine became their own state, there would be peace, they are wrong! We are here in the United States for a reason, to make a difference, we are needed here. The lord is calling his people to return, first to him, then he may call us back to the land of Israel, but first to himself, and no other.

This needs to be shown world wide
Goebbels would be proud of how well the Arabs have learned how to tell BIG lies over and over and over again until people with an IQ of an ant takes the lies and adopts them as truths. I have gone nose-to-nose with Jews who do not understand or care that what they are hearing is nothing but lies based on thin air.
I find the most disgusting part about the litany of lies is that we're committing genocide and WORSE that we are an apartheid state! People simply do not KNOW what that word means, so they blithely accept it as fact, when it is simply a lie with nothing to back it us except hate.
To those Jews who say, "Sticks and bones..." do not understand the level of mentality with which they are dealing. It is similar to the disgusting labels that are being tossed about with abandon about President Obama. He may not be Israel's best friend, but he is no socialist. That charge is leveled time after time because he sees the immorality of permitting human being to die because even if they have insurance the insurance companies routinely delay treatment with the hope that the patient will die before treatment is given.
I love the United States, but am growing steadily afraid of my own country where coveting is more important than helping keep people alive. A recurring thought keeps running through my mind of leaving behind everything I know and moving to Israel someday. Am Yisrael Chai!

awwww, Jeff. I thought the music was awesome. I walked down the aisle to Yerushalayim shel zahav. Here, though I think it was fine. I don't think it was jarring....sorry you felt that way.....
February 8, 2010 12:05 PM
well put together!
A moving film, but surely a beautiful and soulful soundtrack, like, maybe Yerushalayim shel zahav, would add to the emotion of the images, rather than the jarring music that was used!

Moving, but why so much publicity for Peace Now, who creates division?
The video was outstanding. However, I question so much exposure for Peace Now, an organization which has created so much divisiveness, by attacking people who oppose giving up Hevron, Yerushalayim, or any of our Land.

a beautiful film! if only the rest of the world could watch it as well!

Beutiful Face of Our Beloved Home
Thank you. I wish people would listen to truth. Lies always seem to interest them more. I have found that to be true in my life and in the world. The lies about Israel are the same as gossip.....it has the same destructive power that harms and destroys life and goodness. I have heard hate out of mouths sworn to speak truth and love.........nothing is surprising anymore, except loving kindness......and each time I see it or hear it, it has the impact of a hundred evil acts, so sweet and so quenching our thirst for holiness.
February 7, 2010 9:46 PM
good, but a few problems
You really tried to stuff a lot in here and did a find job, but in the interest of constructive criticism, I'll offer the following points. First of all, in order to understand the meaining of the Arabs' lies, you would need to already be familiar with the material, and presumably you made this film also for those without the necessary background. It is an important issue but it was probably lost on anyone who may be new to all this, unlike the rest of the film which required no previous knowledge.
As the mother of a 21 year old soldier serving in a combat unit, I must tell you that like many I am not so proud of Israel's tendency to put its own soldier's at risk to minimize civilian casualty of the enemy. This may sound moral and enlightened, but really it is not. We should not buy good press with our children's blood.
Keep up the good work and you will get it right.

Answer to "Hard to watch"
Excellent video. timing was very good. A lomger film loses it sharpness. The fast change between scenes gives the correct feeling of "Middle East speed" where everything moves fast- just like the final redemption.
February 7, 2010 7:14 PM
Please warn us in advance that the images are so very graphic. From the cover shot this looked like a collection of beautiful photos of Israel, so I called my 16 year old daughter to come watch it with me.. We were at S'barro and decided to go elsewhere for more healthy, "live" food- as we walked out the bomb went off. We spent every possible opportunity in Gush Katif. This same daughter had a gym class, and 10 minutes later her teacher was killed. Etc.. etc., etc. Please Aish- we are very traumatized- be sensitive when showing these images. Our sorrow runs so deep- it's too much to bear. True- one picture is worth a thousand words, but there must be a better way then this to get the message across to your audience. Their goal is to terrorize us in every sense; lets not allow that and stick with darchei noam.

Hard to watch
I found this hard to watch, not from the content, but as we had to read every subtitle to follow the story, the pictures flashed away too fast to follow what is the important part of the video part. I would suggest letting the words pop up and then flash the picture seperate, and lower the music, it is too daunting to want to follow the words. Sorry so harsh, i am a film critic for the Sacramento Bee and get to judge way too many that suck. I watched yours 3 times and got it all, but most folks will turn it off too quick.... Good luck.....
