For lovers of music history and art

This amazing video truly spoke to me in a profound way. I especially love the way history and art are combined to show the world the constant miracle of the promise of Hashem that the Jewish people and Judaism will always survive. Thank you.

Wow

The spirit never dies.. hard to kill ideas even when it would have been much easier to let it die. Its strength to preserver is in its own message. You don't have to believe it to see it and why it is still alive. Very well done.

Not excited about this

It sterotypes people with dreadlocks as negative and attacking on Jews with black hats (which in Eretz Israel is certainly not true). It was a bit violent. Combined with the music, it was contradictory rather than complimentary. Just my opinion. I get you were reflecting history. The message "that we are here forever" was great!

no stereo type

It looks like 2 of the 3 people depicted were white and one of the three had no dread locks. I think it just was made to look 3 tough looking guys, maybe like gang guys, were looking to start up.

Lyrics needed

Dear Aish,

please send me the lyrics to this song. I have a hard time keeping up and understanding some of the speech.

Thank you so much.

Lyrics

Lyrics:

To know about the future, you have to learn the past
What's timeless through the ages is surely gonna last
We've seen the greatest kingdoms, eventually they fall
Who knew the smallest nation would live to pass them all

The more they make us feel the pressure, the closer it brings us together
we'll never stop cuz we are forever, cuz we are forever, cuz are forever

Am Yisrael chai don't worry bout a thing
Don’t worry ‘bout a thing
Don’t worry ‘bout a thing
Don’t worry ‘bout a thing

I know we’ll be alright
Don’t worry ‘bout a thing
Don’t worry ‘bout a thing
Don’t worry ‘bout a thing

Although we're few in number It's amazing what we've done
The global contributions, we've only just begun
So forget about your worries, let go of all your fears
As long as we're united, then we will still be here.

The more they make us feel the pressure, the closer it brings us together
We'll never stop cuz we're forever, cuz we're forever, cuz w're forever

Chorus

See your enemies are all knocking at your door
Every time you offer peace they always ask for more
They say they want to wipe you off the map for sure
Yeah, like we haven't heard that before

In each generation another one rivals
They made blood libels since before sun dials
And if you count every one that wanted us dead
We would have more than the rest of the world compiled

But they celebrate much too soon
Cuz you can't touch us like you can't touch the moon
And everyone that brought us misery is on the wrong side of history

You see we're not worried and you wonder why
How can you kill something that doesn't die
Even though you're gonna try
Surprise we're still alive
Am yisrael chai

Agree...

Great song! But also appreciate if you could
post lyrics since it was at times hard to understand. Thanks!
