Without Israel we Jews are nothing. No country will ever accept us with open arms as Israel will in case we are "kicked" out of a country as we were when we lived in Tunisia. We have to think of the future of our children and we must support Israel in any way we can. The State of Israel will live for ever but who knows how long our individual success will last

Really nice video - and message is great! That is, about supporting Israel and understanding that Israel is not just a dream.Having said that, and with fear of coming across as narcissistic, I would like to point out that I don't feel that "the state of Israel is more important than my individual success". Yes, we are a part of a nation, part of a past and future and we survive because of our unity; but, our mission in this world is to become the best individuals we can become, to grow closer to G-d and to make a positive impact on this world. While Israel as a state is something that means a lot to me and to our nation, I still feel that I can accomplish my mission here even in the unfortunate event of there being no Israel. On the other hand, Israel cannot survive without us as individuals. What really is the priority here?I would love to hear your feedback on this...

You're Missing Something...
You are right in saying our mission in life is drawing closer to God...but, it's about much more than my and your spiritual level. Israel is about so much more than just a state, a piece of land or a people.Israel in it's essence is actually not anything physical, because Israel is an Idea. It is an Idea created by God, and you are apart of that idea. Don't see it as just a piece of land, see it as "the place God chose to make His name rest" - and that is eternal. The reason God created the Torah was not so that man could elevate himself "above the mundane world" but it was so that man could bring God's presence down into a mundane world. That's the whole purpose of this life. And the way to do that is by following Hashem's Torah, and His Torah requires 12 tribes of Israel in the land of Israel, obeying His Torah, to ultimately bring His presence there, that is the real priority. And that Idea is called Israel, and everyone following God's Torah is part of it. But since Israel is in exile we can now only wait upon God to bring His people back. And I assure you, you might feel you can accomplish your goal/mission on earth without Israel, if that were to happen, then God's goal/mission for man would not have been fulfilled.
