when I told my husband that the title of the video was about the most important three words, you know what he said? "YOU ARE RIGHT!!" either way it's okay!

Three important words
Indeed , these three most important words reveal honesty and most importantly honesty with the self . Without which no relationship can work , least of all relationship with the self.

"I'm sorry" seems so shallow compared to " I was wrong"
To say those words & really mean it takes strength! Good for anyone who is strong enough!

In today's relationships the four most important words , that show you are willing to really communicate are " I'm off my phone".

I, too, have 3 very important words...
The most important 3 words in my marriage are "I appreciate you".
February 28, 2013 5:43 PM
You are correct
This is spot on. Some of the best times in our relationship were after one of us said those words.
A true repentance requires an effort not to repeat the transgression, so (in addition to that effort), I usually also add "and I'll try not to do it again".

Only 3 words?
I have another 3 words that I find very important. They are Thank you Hashem. And please forgive me. All these words if used at the right time and to the right person(s) would help us to bring Moshiach now. You can find me on Facebook if you care to.

Brings peace! Shows humbleness.
Honestly, I have always used those words with my husband, children, sisters ... ... all unpleasant arguments come to an end peacefully. It leaves the other person with nothing much to say further. I see nothing wrong in saying those words for the sake of peace.

Does "I am wrong" mean the other one was right??

Some of us were taught by example that being wrong is life threatening; if you are wrong then your validity is called into question, that you are small and of no worth. There are people who have panic attacks when someone disagrees with them.

Why is it so hard to say?
It's really hard to say we are wrong. Why? I wish I cound understand the hardness of saying it. My wife always tell me that I am wrong but I just can´t agree with her on this subject. Yes, I think I am always right (althought I know I make many mistakes). Why is it so hard to agree with people that desagree with us? Any help? My e-mail is firstname.lastname@example.org and I would welcome your suggestions. Thank you.
