I know many people do not enter Churches. Does the same apply to Mosques?
As a matter of fact, there is no issue entering or even praying in a Mosque. The most famous Mosque in which Jews pray regularly is Ma’arat HaMachpailah – the Cave of the Patriarchs in Hebron. The reason for this is because Islam is a monotheistic religion. It believes in a single all-powerful God as do we. Obviously, there are vast differences in belief between Judaism and Islam, but being that Muslims believe in an omnipotent God, their prayers are directed to the right place so to speak and their houses of worship are completely legitimate.
