None of the members of my extended family see anything wrong with interfaith marriage. In fact, they are actually happy about a certain couple who recently got engaged. I am not happy at all about this engagement, and am treading very carefully and diplomatically. No wedding date has been set yet, despite the fact that this couple has been together for a few years. Yes, this relationship looks good to ALL of their relatives except for me.

the courage to play your truth
Having the courage to play your truth even when people look at you like "something's wrong" or when your not in key with others, or the norm, that is courage, that is vulnerability. Even when it's uncomfortable, the longer you stick with vulnerability, the more authentic and meaningful connections you will make. Even if it takes longer, and you lose some friends along the way, these true connections will flourish into relationships that will surround you with support, understanding, appreciation, respect, and love. This love encourages you to live to your full potential and beyond, this love breeds contentment and a life of happiness and belonging.
