Direct Communication?

Let me be the devils advocate for a moment. One or a cohort of conspiring few people can claim that G_D spoke to 6 Million people (The word passes around that there were 6 Million instead of the conspiring few made the claim). My ONLY reason that I personally believe that G_D gave the TORAH is because of the phenomenal Gematrias therein and Equidistant Letter Skips (or ELS) that even the British Royal Mathematical Society published an article proving statistically that no other book can claim the veracity attributed to the ELS. Not anyone man's written book even with the fact that hindside is 20/20 can write a book with such an accuracy in the ELS!.

cant fool all the people ...

if a few made up that all the people (millions) were at Sinai on the 6th of Sivan in 2248 and it was not true than surely the nation at the time of the "making up" would protest that it is indeed well known national history that the people were NOT all there at that time

Some detractors would say your reason is due to chutzpah. I believe that fulfillment of most of the prophecies is the most commanding evidence.

Voltaire was impressed that biblical prophecy became manifest reality even before the Shoah and the miracles of Statehood and Six Day War and Jerusalem.

Happy Shavuos everyone, we celebrate the mass revelation of the giving of the Torah at Mount Sinai that we Jewish people experienced. And like the Torah, we are, thank G-d) eternal
