Rabbi Yaakov Salomon, C.S.W. is a noted psychotherapist, in private practice in Brooklyn, N.Y. for over 25 years. We have a sign prominently displayed above our fridge that reads: "Good Morning. This is G-d. Today I will be handling all your problems. I will not need your help. So...relax and have a great day! "

Serenity Prayer
Just about sums up the Serenity Prayer: G-d grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change; the courage to change the things I can and the wisdom to know the difference.
Faith in G-d is a struggle and serenity is the byproduct of putting that faith into action...
I don't think it's meant to be easy.
The word "Yisrael" means to 'struggle with G-d".
I believe that struggle is precious to G-d.
