We can decide to act instead of just complaining.

Sometimes I get flashes of insight in just one second. Those flashes lead me to act. I like what the rabbi said about deciding to learn to read Hebrew, as that was a decision I made just over a year ago. Am I a great Hebrew reader? No. However, I CAN read Hebrew which was something I could NOT do before.

See FOUR SECONDS book by Peter Bregman

Great lesson. There is a new book out by Peter Bregman, " Four Seconds." I have not read it yet, but I know it is about how we can change our reactions to daily events. It is about creating opportunities, in the moment. See 4 minute interview with author:

A Split Second Decision.

Make it count. I'm going to look up and smile.
