Halacha is replete with incorporating differing opinions

It's a great thought and definitely appropriate lesson for a home, and it's just one example of a halachic compromise. How the parshiyos in a Mezuzah are written is based on incorporating both the Rambam and Rosh. Those who both stand and sit by Kiddush do so to follow both customs of standing and sitting. Etc.

Small Correction

With respect, Jewish law is full of compromises - just read the debates in the Talmud. Another well-known example is the lighting of Hanukah candles where the candles are added right-to-left but lit left-to-right - this also is a compromise between two ways of doing things.
