About the Author

Heather Dean

More by this Author >

Heather Dean’s career as a broadcast journalist began in 1988 at MTV: Music Television’s news division in New York City. In 1992, she began producing celebrity interviews and news stories for other outlets, including the Associated Press (AP) Radio Network; E! Entertainment Television; TV Guide; People Magazine Online; Teen People Magazine; and Family Circle Magazine. Heather has also been interviewed on camera for such networks as NBC News, MSNBC, Fox News and Fox 5 New York to comment on various breaking entertainment news stories. She became a regular student at Aish NY in the late 1990s, and traveled to Israel many times on Aish NY trips. Heather met her future husband in Israel, less than a month before 9/11, and made Aliyah in 2001. They remain in Israel, and it is the birthplace of all of their children. She speaks to many audiences about her incredible career interviewing celebrities – and especially why she walked away from it. Her memoir, “Searching for Heather Dean” is due out later this year.
