Thank you.

Your shiur is all encompassing. Thank you.

Your message was wonderful except that I heard no encouragement to "repent and turn back to Me" that G-d is always telling us throughout Torah. It is not so much about our "good deeds" as it is about "returning to Him" and "trusting in Him" and being "faithful to Him". Our good deeds are the result of returning to Him. But the returning must come first. Even the gentiles do good deeds.

(24) Anonymous, July 24, 2012 3:14 PM

Very well done! Thank you

(23) Anonymous, August 9, 2011 8:06 PM

He is speaking way too fast for someone to understand what he is saying. It is not clear. If someone is not knowledgeable on the subject they will not understand.

Karen, July 27, 2012 12:47 PM

Great teaching

The advantage of the video is that you can listen to it several times. He isnt teaching too fast.

Anonymous, July 27, 2012 4:52 PM

objection to your comment

Educators say that as we get older we have to repeat over and over until the simplest learning registers. Rabbi Goldhar's Crash Course on Tisha B'Av is very clear and most understandable and done extrememly well as a "crash course".

learn to concentrate, listen again, over and over until you understand!

(22) Debbie, August 9, 2011 11:13 AM

Why not mention the more "modern" disasters as well?!

The fate of Judaism in Spain and WWII, just to mention two that also the less / not yet religious can connect to and that are very good reasons for this day of mourning. As well as a sign that we'd better not lose sight of what's important, even in "modern" times.

(21) huna friedland, August 9, 2011 8:11 AM

Dear Rabbe , we are in depth of ignorence from people to recogenize the all mighty G-d is in the absenty mind of the people now days and yet, there are a lot stream of people who are taking steps forward to learn , to know and recogeniz the upper hand of G-d in the Univers. unfurtunatly, there is so much negativity going on around in many places in the world that may bring another calamity and catesrophe in the world because of all the sins such as greed, hate, ego, adultry and so forth. i'm terribley worried about the people, animals, and mother nature!!! we need people like you to go outthere and raise a voise. and people who are concern about the impending disaster to the entire world. we need to employ people who who shows emphaty to emphasize the greatest lost and casuality to all human kind. please rabbi do something and recruit people of all level of background relate to all people of all stratification of stage level in order to teach and guide them . impiously, people are worsen in every part of life ,people focus to have fun and good time that mostly centers in physical form of illicity and indecency and so on . we need bravery people to commit to that mission and speak up without any fear . just speak up and guide people hte best way to get closer to our creator .

(2) Abbie Adler, August 7, 2011 3:12 PM

the best explanation

Avraham Goldhar always gets to the guts of his subject in his series of Crash Courses. Why didn't my Sunday School Teacher do that? It's obviously so easy to understand when you have a good teacher. Looking forward to more of Avraham Goldhar's Crash Courses.
