A moment in time

My heart stood still as I heard the violin. The true heart felt excruciating pain of our families was depicted this night over 3 times played for the most horrid of all peoples. I thought how the prisoners felt at that moment being our holiday of Yom Kippur and the sorrow they all felt. G-D bless him.

Kol Nidre

As a small child, I heard this melody while watching The Jazz Singer with Al Jolson. It has clung to my heart ever since. Who cannot be touched in one's soul by it?
