If you enjoyed this spine-tingling video...

For those who enjoyed this spine-tingling video, I cannot recommend highly enough a recently published book that includes a riveting description of what Menachem Begin witnessed on Yom Kippur 1943 (and what he did about it): bayonet-wielding British soldiers encircling worshipers at the Kotel, ready to pounce on the as yet unknown impudent youngster in the crowd, who surely would bring a hidden shofar to his lips and blow. The name of the book is "The Prime Ministers" by Yehuda Avner: Wishing you a New Year filled with health, tranquility, joy, creativity and peace, Chava Willig Levy

Thank you for the inspiration!

.....and aside from that, this gives tremendous kavod to these elderly men, reminding them of the vitality and relevance of their lives. You can see them grow younger as they relive their stories.

Thanks to All the Men who blew the Shofar

Thanks to all the Men that blew the Shofar! How ridiculous it was that it was against the law to begin with. The Brit's being afraid of horn blowing. It means more to us than that, for them they were just scaredy cats. You Men showed your bravery to obey God not man. And WE give you thanks all those years and to the various Men that did. You Men are the Light, and those who created such ridiculous laws was in darkness. We are still proud of all of you who stood up against the forces of darkness and their evil inclinations against the God of Israel. Your Part was harder to fulfil, than those who chose to come against God. Your consequences was temporal, created by man, Your rewards are eternal given by God!!! You chose the better Part!

A truly inspiring story.

It truly touched my heart to hear these men relate their story. The passage of time did not lessen the passion and love for Eretz Israel.

Echoes of Shofar

What a beautiful and inspiring story. It just goes to show what a wonderful religion we have and what we have to do to survive. L' Chaim To Life!
