Saw the voices? Where exactly?

At the 0:44 mark in the video, Sinclair states that Israel "saw the voices" at Mt. Sinai. Can someone tell me where precisely in the Torah Israel "saw the voices"? I fail to find such words in the JPS Torah.

Worth Listening to Again

Meaningful message with beautiful delivery....talking to us slowly with sincerity and not shouting at us at high speed

Hearing is believing

I suppose that's why we sometimes need to hear something multiple times for it to sink in and take root as thought. Thank you.

Beautiful!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That is a very very beautiful concept, thank you for this At Mt Sinia the hearing was as quick as the seeing. they heard what they saw, they saw what they heard. the one time ever that happened. very very beautiful. we must stop, and hear.
