The following recipes have been taken from the best-selling Kinnereth Cookbook. The Kinnereth Chapter of Hadassah WIZO in Canada took it upon themselves to write an all encompassing kosher cookbook. It has been a tremendous success and has been sold throughout the world. All proceeds go to WIZO services in Israel. We have been very proud of our endeavors and are happy to share a few choice recipes. More to come! If you would like to order a copy of the Kinnereth Cookbook, please email hadassah@pathcom.com

AMEN to that ! To many ppl don’t and won’t get involved to help others and yet they sure want help when they’re in need. What is so unbelievable is that the ones who come to offer help are the ones that would be considered the “least” of ppl in society. Crazy!!! The ones who have the most are always the ones who give the least but they’ll sure remind you to give and be generous.

Looking for a recipe
A teacher I once worked with made a dish that involved baking an eggplant for a long time to get it to sauce/chutney consistency and it was combined with cooked tomatoes. Maybe onions but not sure. All i know is that she made it for a Jewish holiday as a dip? Does anyone have any idea what its called and how to make it?

Recipe
It sounds like you're talking about babaganoush. There are recipes in almost every Jewish cookbook, vegetarian cookbook, as a dip or appetizer. Make it anytime, not just holidays. I could eat it every day!

The only readymade condiment we use is salt, boiled sugar and olive oil.No other manufactured goods. We do not eat gebrockts and all vegetables have to be peeled. Yearin, yearout I produce the same dishes. Has anybody a good idea or recipe she/he is willing to share. Thanks.

Well how about the butternut soup?
The flavorings are all fresh and not manufactured and the squash is peeled. You could use a bit of a hot chili pod instead of pepper. And roast peeled vegetables-celery root, leeks, butternut, onions, sweet potatoes, Jerusalem artichoke with rosemary, salt and olive oil are really good.

No ladyfingers
Does anyone know a substitute for ladyfingers? They really are too expensive for me to buy, but the lemon torte sounds so good.

Any thing with butternut squash is appealing to me. The bisque sounds yummy. This site is splendid! I'm looking forward to making the brownies.
Help! Does anyone have the blueberry muffin recipe with cake meal? Or the mandelbroidt recipe?
