Yes, But...

Excellent answers - but as usual, I find myself with some counters. Re imagine the creation - well, some of us can do that, otherwise, how would we theorize about it? Re create a world - well, maybe we don't make it "concrete" - but have a look at the fantasy books which throng the bookshelves: each an imagined, created (sub)world. In trying ot understand the mechanisms of the creation and in creating our own variations of the universe we know, there too people are emulating an aspect of G-d.

you raised the counters but beneath that is the more criticial notion that there are no... answers. There is only striving, living for the results of questioning, and obtaining one's satisfaction at doing one's best, or at least hoping to come close to that, in the ideas of the questions, and how one functions in the world.

Beautiful, but

What about the answer of the Chacham of the Kuzari? That we cannot testify to the creation, whereas we can to the exodus. We have been doing so since the Exodus, father to son, on Paasover, since the time G-d did it!
