Chaim Yankel a resident of the famed city of Chelm (where they are known for not being so bright) decided that he wanted to be an actuary. He studied very hard and somehow managed to squeak by and pass his licensing exam.

At his first job interview the company representative asked him, "Can you tell me what gross aggrandized annuity means?"

"Certainly," replied Chaim Yankel. "It means I don't get the job."
