The Goldstein family dog “Nudnik” was in need of some serious attention. David Goldstein called his vet pleading for an immediate appointment. David explained that Nudnik had a large growth or swelling near the corner of his mouth that had appeared to grow overnight, so the vet told David to bring Nudnik over.
When David came with Nudnik, the vet examined Nudnik as David stood by, anxiously waiting the vet's opinion. At last the vet turned to David and asked, "Do you have any kids?"
"Oy, is it contagious?" David gasped.
"No," the vet answered. "It's bubble gum."
