Shirley Rabinowitz was having two problems during Coronavirus that were not uncommon: she had gained weight and her kids were bored. So she decided to tackle both of them. She went on a diet and she started coming home with arts and crafts for her kids. A few weeks after she started the new initiatives, she went to the craft store to pick up a set of oil painting for beginners with paints and brushes.
When she got to the cash register she noticed her friend Sally working there at the checkout.
“Did you get thinner?” sally asked.
Shirley smiled, proud of herself. “Well I did start a diet a few weeks ago.”
Sally coughed awkwardly. “I meant paint thinner.”
