Two minutes cut: "Stop it or I will bury you in a box" (Mental Block Rx)

Again, much thanks for this incredible piece of wisdom from Bob Newhart.

But let me add that there are two additional minutes to this skit.
At the end. The therapist is still meeting with resistance from the patient.
So, he adds ten words: " STOP IT, OR I WILL BURY YOU IN A BOX!"

I think the idea is to be BLUNT and REPETITIOUS with people, and with ourselves. This, I think is why Trump is winning support, again and again.

Thank You For This Treat

If only all problems were so easily solved. Bob Newhart brings humor to some serious stuff and is such a joy to hear & watch. I still remember two famous routines. The first is visiting someone with a huge aggressive dog. The host needs to leave the room and tells Bob to “just keep feeding him kibble or something.” Bob’s reply “What happens if I run out of kibble before you get back?”...SILENCE The second Bob is de-activating a what could be a live bomb he finds on a beach with over-the-phone instructions. Wish he could become a regular here. His humor may be a different but valid way to things.

This Advice is So Obvious, but So Hard to Take (Thanks for the Reminder)

I enjoyed this video lesson, in common sense, years ago.
Thanks for reminding me about it, so I can go over it, again, and share it.

We all have our fears, or doubts..
Just today, I am hesitating to order something, on line. I fear I will get it wrong.
So, I am planning to first take a long walk and do some shopping.

Perhaps more U more, like this, can help.

All Beginnings are Difficult (saying)

This funny skit reminds me of the Jewish saying (from Rashi, Mehilta):
"All beginnings are difficult"

But perhaps we often make change seem so impossibly difficult.

"One small step for man. One giant leap for mankind" (Armstrong)

Much thanks Harry www.SavingSchools.org
