supervisor like to contradict
Sadly, I once had a supervisor who was almost as bad as this. One time, after I had made a statement, he said "No, it isn't." Of course I insisted it was. After we did this 2 or 3 times, I said, "If 50% is not half, then what is it?" He just replied, "Baahh!" and walked out of the room. (He didn't know what he was arguing about; he was trying to prove that he was right, therefore I was wrong.)

This era of British (and American) comedians were incredibly funny, and....worked clean! Generally speaking, they rarely, if ever used foul language.
