The film's context is vague...

It's clear reading the comments above that the film was misunderstood. The question (I believe) was based on Gemrnay banning Jewish participation in the Olympic games in Berlin that year. It had little to do with the African-American participants. America was debating whether to boycott the Olympics because of the inherent Anti-Semitism, or to ignore it and participate. Clearly, they chose to participate, giving silent approval for Nazi Germany's discrimination against its Jewish populace.
In my opinion, America should have boycotted the Olympics in 1936, giving the clear that it will not cooperate with the Nazi Regime's mistreatment of any people. Perhaps other world leaders would've joined in as well, paving the way for a different outcome...

No. I am glad that it didn't happen. Equality and fairness should be available to anyone, regardless of race/gender/sex.
Hate is not acceptable.
