Jtube: Shark Tank: Mensch on a Bench

Is there a Jewish toy you think would be a good idea to create?

Neil Hoffman successfully secured a deal with Lori Greiner and Robert Herjavic for $150,000 for 15% of his company giving Mench on a Bench a $1 million valuation. All we can say is: Mazal Tov!

This video encourages the discussion of Jewish values as they relate to contemporary culture. Jewlarious does not endorse any particular film.

adorable .... and brilliant ......

i think this is adorable ... and the way he captured his audience by starting out how Jewish children deal with xmas .... was brilliant .... there are so many toys Jewish children play with .... why shouldn't the Mensch on a Bench be one of them? definitely more kosher than a barbie or ken doll .... a great idea!

I saw this item on the shelf at Bed Bath and Beyond and I almost bought it for my grandchildren. The reason I didn't was that my grandchildren all live out of town and out of the country which meant shipping expenses and of course the fear of it breaking in transit. Otherwise, I would not have hesitated. I thought this was absolutely adorable.

I can't think of anything more corny or more cheapening to Chanukah. Why couldn't he have made something like Maccabee action figures with a story book all about them to show kids what heros they were. What kid doesn't like a hero?

I saw this at Indigo yesterday. I was ashamed. I don't know why but it really offended me. I'm sure there are better ways to capture the children's imagination than this crude representation of an Orthodox man. Mench on a Bench?? OMG...
