trueth

this difficulty with vaccination has some trueth to it for I met a mother who finally had one normal child after not giving this child a vaccine. It is also true that in order to stop some horrible plagues that vaccines are a necessary part of society's health. The hunt for the 100% pure trueth in medicine unfortunately doesn't exist. The search for trueth is an ongoing treasure hunt fraught with much greed, and jealousy.-and some well meaning misinformation .

nothing humorous, artsy or entertaining here

Is it vaccines or irrational beliefs that you are talking about? It appears you have no grasp of either, IMO. Vaccines are big business, and irrational belief is small potatoes to these companies who get billions of taxpayer funds for the creation of their injectable toxins. I dont think Avraham would be pleased with these things.

The explanations could've been clearer...

If I may play devil's advocate here for a minute: "You're substantially more likely to die from having furniture fall on you (than die from a shark attack)." -- The conditions were not stated in the video. For example, are they comparing people in /general/ or are they comparing people who are swimming in the presence of sharks with people who are walking by two-or-more story tall buildings? And what about people who believe that the sun revolves around the earth while ALSO believing the earth revolves around the sun? Y'know, the people who claim they understand all about relative motion and the comparative complexity of orbital equations?

About those European studies

Steve, are you referring to this one--> "Lancet Renounces Study Linking Autism And Vaccines"?

Anonymous, April 5, 2013 6:52 PM

wait! elvis is dead?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?

Was this about lies or about vaccinations? And what about those parents who had a normal child and they got their vaccines and the next day where autistic and now Mom and Dad are actively involved in letting people know what is going on? Oh and what about all the studies done in Europe on this, oh right they don't count. Sorry.

Excellent Video!..

Just look at the case of the "Mavi Marmara", the so-called "aid ship", for example.. The "world" in general considered the IDF to be the guilty party in the matter, after listening to the lies circulated by various anti-Israel sources.. Then came the video PROOF that Israel was NOT the guilty party at all, but by then the original lie had taken root within many, and shifting that initial lie has proven to be very difficult indeed.. People so very often would rather continue to believe the lie than accept the truth, even if it is staring them in the face, especially if it profits their hidden agendas.. Shalom.. Keith.. :)

Not so fast!

Debunking a study does not debunk the hypothesis that was being studied. The truth of a matter has a "life of its own," independent of how well or poorly it has been demonstrated in a particular instance. I thought this clip was insultingly illogical, and I hope no one will form any deep-seated beliefs based on IT! There is way more to know about vaccines, autism, the measles, and wise health care choices than the mantra "Andrew Wakefield has been labeled a fraud."

Autism?

Irrespective of merits or lack thereof of original 'study' linking MMR and autism, serious questions remain about metabolization of adjuvants within vaccine preparations, especially those crossing blood/brain barrier in developing children. Obviously, enormous suffering has been relieved by certain vaccination protocols. Indiscriminate employ based solely on industry-driven safety testing is however, questionable. What ever happened to the 'precautionary principal'? Or is only to be used when justifying, for example, Cap and Tax legislation. Surmount fear of safety, study and research for oneself, and make informed decisions based on reliable 'benefit/risk'. As M. Twain said - "if you don't read the newspapers you're uninformed; if you do read the newspapers you're ill-informed." , so be rigorous and open to contrarian views.

Great Clip: The Power of Lashon Hara

This makes me think of the power of Lashon Hara (gossip) and how hard it is to undo it. No matter what facts are presented it is always hard to shake the initial false information.
