These video clips present incredible images and knowledge of these horrific events of history.

The video clips, along with the narratives, tell such a clear story of tragic events. The organization of these clips make it easy for us to understand what happened. The audience is drawn into the the horror and can recognize the tragedy clearly. Thank you for such intense work on this project. The pain of the directors as they worked their way through so much footage, must have been incredible, and was suffered for the knowledge of us all.

Images that defy words

This film consolidates the images of horror as few have. It is chilling and unforgettable. Yet there are so many who would prefer to forget, and so this film and more like it are indispensible.

Great Documentary

May we never forget what has been committed, nor may anyone deny the truth!

What an important and powerful documentation of the Holocaust! Because of the exceptional clarity of the footage and the accompanying factual narrative, this film has an immediacy that takes viewers right into the death camps, and leaves them with images they will never forget.

Rabbi Wein's Movies

clear, clean and shocking, really bringing the horrors of the holocaust alive. as the saying goes, seeing is believing --there can be no denial after sights like these. kol ha kavod for helping history live on.

A Must See!

What a powerful and succint picture of the discovery of the death camps and the world's reaction. Every Jew should know as much as they can about the Shoah. kol hakavod to the producers!

More, please...this should be compulsory

This small taste of what promises to be an important film took my breath away. Moments ago I watched an interview with Avraham Burg, author of The Holocaust Is Over, We Must Rise From Its Ashes, whose argument for moving beyond the victimization of the Shoah is compelling. That said, by his own admission,"Never Forget" is a "given." As long as there are people who deny the events of 60 years ago, films like this one must be required in our schools. As Mr. Burg points out, the next generation will be one solely of "memory" and not of "witnesses." This is a powerful reason to retell and retell and retell.

thank you

Thanks for keeping this important subject alive in a graphic and clear way - we must pass it along to our children so it is etched in their hearts and thoughts.

A crirtically important piece of history!

This short clip is one of the most important historical documents around. It was done so professionally and one can tell the amount of research and professional expertise necessary to make such a video. This is MUST VIEWING for everyone. My sincere thanks to Rabbi Wein and the entire production staff. You have and continue to make such a valuable contribution to Jewish education. And, kudos to Aish.com for recognizing the value of this production and sharing it with the entire world.

Hard to watch but must be seen.

Thank you so much for this incredibly important and very well done film. I am emailing this link to young and old and I look forward to subsequent volumes.

It's about time

Schools worlwide should be updating their curriculums and taking advantage of this material. Are they working on translations? This is a necessary purchase for home libraries, too!

An amazing accomplishment.

Faith and fate is an amazing accomplishment. It brings together from many different sources and archives a vast amount of information melded into a seamless, artistic, technically brilliant film. It is powerful and truthful.

Lest they forget

An important contribution to perpetuating our remembrance of the terrible events of Churban Europa. It is heavy viewing (with a "viewer discretion advised" warning), but it is a truth that must be shared, especially in times where holocaust denial is an increasing trend and when there are so few first-hand witnesses still surviving to share their stories and, yes, their testimony. Thank you to Rabbi Wein, and all those involved in making this documentary, for another excellent chapter in the "Faith and Fate - The Story of the Jewish People in the 20th Century series." This series is destined to be one of the most important contributions to our understanding of 20th century Jewish history, and will be referenced for years to come.

This is very important film. I was amazed to see it and surely I love Israel as a Nation and Pray for its peace and prosperity. May God bless ISRAEL.

Factual evidence

This is a very important documentary narrative which should be required viewing by all european children, and North American children as well. It might be a good idea to email this to some of the more vociferous anti-semites who need a reality check, and some form of "intelligence gene" remedy. Thank you.

Shoah II is being planned!

Today is Shoah Remembrance Day, but all I can think about is the new threat to us. When Hitler was coming onto the world’s stage nobody did a thing about him. They thought that he was just another nut, sadly we know differently. General Eisenhower’s predictions have become all too true, and one of its greatest deniers is none other than the president of Iran. Do people think he is kidding that he is out to destroy Israel? I don’t. It was heartening to see that over 40 country’s representatives walked out of Durban II. At Durban I people just sat in silence as Israel was once again lambasted, this time around it was a wonderfully refreshing change. HOWEVER, the president of Iran, in addition to fulfilling Eisenhower’s predictions in a flamboyant manner, is, as far as I’m concerned, Hitler’s spiritual brother. Once again, the Vatican has welcomed back with open arms yet another Holocaust denier. The Pope is supposedly infallible, so much for that claim. As another commentator said, these films should be shown in every school in the lands of the Earth, not just America. What are the “crimes” of the Jews? As Hitler complained, “The Jews brought humanity and morality to the earth, as long as one Jew exists, we cannot go back to being whom and what we want to be: Barbarians who accept the survival of the fittest as the norm. If one Jewish boy on the face of the earth, even if he has never had a Jewish education, in his heart is kindness, humanity and morality.” Look at all the hate groups who can’t stand us. They live as Barbarians, but we brought the concepts of a single G-d and the need for humanity. They don’t KNOW that is why they hate us, it is somehow inborn. And that, my fellow Jews whom I love with a passion too deep to explain, is why we cannot afford to ignore AhMADinejad and if we are to avoid Shoah II, he must be stopped NOW. He has ballistic missiles that can reach into the heart of Israel and mark my words, as soon as he has a nuclear warhead, he WILL attack Israel with as much regret as Hitler and his minions had and still have.
