Excellent explanation

I just wanted to offer praise to Rabbi Wildes for that wonderfully written and comprehensive coverage of sex in society as compared to how it is seen in the Jewish way of life. So nicely done! Comforting and inspiring as well. Thank you!

Not Always Possible

Hi Mark
Thanks for a great video.
However, what you recommend is not always possible.
Since reaching menopause my wife has switched off sex completely. In addition, as her GP has advised her against taking any form of HRT, she has been unable to go to the Mikvah for months and months now. What can be done in such situations? Thanks again.

Happy to see this topic addressed

I relate to your experience with your son - it's so hard to be at all involved in the general culture without being bombarded with sexual images or inuendoes. My best defence with my son, who has a sensitivity towards tznius/modesty is to point out when messages are coming from a mixed up place. He's a bit young to discuss with him the positive side of sexuality, but I try to teach him and all of my children that the body is something private and precious, not bad or disgusting. It's a hard balance.
