Does Israel Discriminate Against Arabs?

Olga Meshoe, herself a South African whose family experienced apartheid, settles the question once and for all.

Thanks for the commentary on the lie about apartheid in Israel.
I was able to visit Israel the homeland of my ancestors in 1988. I noticed in the Jerusalem markets Arabs and Israeli Jews with shops next to each other trading and being friendly to each other. That would not happen in an apartheid country. The road signs were all written in Hebrew Arabic and English. This is freedom and democracy not apartheid. Shalom Israel.

apartheid analogies

Let this get straight. Imagine one group (call them Moslem or Arab) controls 99% of the land and has 19 or 20 countries in the Middle East. In their areas, such as Iran, Iraq, Syria, Jews have been expelled or suffer sever discrimination. No one has any problem with this and there are no protests in the UN or elsewhere.

Surprisingly the group with 1% of the land, has made their land desirable and profitable and many Arabs protest. 99% of the land seems so little and 1% seem so much, why don't you share your land and include us. We should have 99% of land Arab/Islam, and 1% shared Jewish, Palestinian, Arab, your failure to share your land is apartheid they exclaim.

Detractors Conflate Discrimination With Experiences of Racism

Detractors really must learn that experiences of racism, contemptible as they are, do not immediately equate to discrimination. Experiences of racism come from individuals, whereas discrimination (whilst often also coming from individuals), is usually enforced through institutions. Such discrimination does exist in parts of Israel, yes. But Israel's legal system not only forbids it, but is actively enforced against it. Israel has high human rights standards and her foundational philosophy has always been opposed to discrimination.

It brings warmth to my heart ,knowing that outsiders are champion Israel in the way that Olga Meshoe does.

Apartheid no equal also no

Israel is a Jewish State. Minorities rights are respected but the presentation makes it sound like Arabs serve in the military like Jews when only a tiny percentage do. In addition any Jew gets automatic citizenship on demand and and Arabs who are not living in previous 67 borders have a slim chance at best of returning to what they believes to be their homeland. All that makes sense as the dream of destroying the Jewish State is alive and well and Arabs are lucky to have the opportunities they have in Israel. Jews would be gone or dead if the Arabs had been victorious just don't pretend it's all equal or that it should be.

Truth sets one FREE

Well said, well done. May this presentation of TRUTH prosper and may it's good overtake the evil of the lies set against it.
