Israel is not hollywood

What is happening in Israel is real life. It is hard enough for American Jews to relate to what is happening... This movie downgrades the terrible reality into entertainment, and by doing so, cheapens the actual terror that is being felt by our own brothers and sisters.

Help will always be given

I feel one important line was missing in the video: even though all is black, dumbledore said that help will always be given to those that deserve it. So, in the same token, the video should have taken this line to tell that at the end, although we have to understand the danger and act upon it, help will always be given to israel by g-d himself. They will loose.

Here and there

I live in Rio de Janeiro e I had already been twice in Israel - in 2011 and 2014. I went with my husband and my baby. Believe or not, we felt much more safe and protected in Israel than in our city. Israel is the most secure place in the world. I keep praying for the peace in Jerusalem because I know when you are in peace there we are in peace here. Love you!!

thought provoking

As an avid Harry Potter fan, at first I found this amusing and cleverly made. But then it made me think. Is this what terror has come to? Comparing it to kids movies? As frightening, exciting and moving the HP movies are, they are not real life, which, according to my relatives trying to go about their daily lives in Israel, is much more frightening! But then I thought some more. Maybe movie clips, which captivate and enthrall their viewers, are an effective way to show others what we are going through. I'm not sure. But at least this clip got me thinking!

my kids' first introduction to evil

When my kids were young I was grateful that I could introduce them to the concept of evil by reading the Harry Potter series to them. When they were older they could understand the truth that there is real evil in the world.

That said, I had a hard time with this and didn't make it through. Not a criticism against the work, it just didn't speak to me but I understand the value.

Movies do have lessons and morality built into them

We can tell the good guys and the bad guys by our own biased cultural history . In the Movies , the good guys and the bad guys are simplified charactures of good and evil . Evil people simply want to promote unexplainable evil and the audience quickly throws their support behind the predefined hero .

So true! So sad.

The world wants to blame the innocent and the brave..
