You are asking why there isn't a Palestinian State. The history of the area answers your question. When the Arabs moved into the area of Israel, the land was called Palestine by the Romans to insult Israel as a Philistine State. The Arabs never formed a state there as Israel had a long history of being a territory of Jordan, the Ottoman Empire, and others but NEVER FORMED A STATE CALLED PALESTINE. To this date, the West Bank and Gaza belong to Israel. These territories were captured in the Arab countries attacks on Israel. Israel incorporated the original lands into the State of Israel. Of course, the Arabs disagree.

Not exactly accurate

The West Bank was never annexed by Israel. It is occupied territory, or disputed territory.

Today, the Combatting BDS Bill in Congress was stalled

Thank you for your video and opinion. It is timely, because today in U.S. Congress a vote was stalled 56 -44, to combat BDS. As a proud Democrat, and as a proud Jew, I agree with and support the stalling of the bill. I don't appreciate Marco Rubio playing politics with Israel and will long remember his actions.

I cherish civil liberties such as freedom of speech and freedom of religion in this country. That includes the right of political boycott and speech, even if it is Israel, even if that hurts. And it does hurt. I cringe when I hear the things said about Israel.

But, the priorities of our Congress needed to be resolving the government shutdown, not legislation to support any other government, even Israel, as much as a love for land of Israel burns in my heart, as a Jew.

No doubt, the issue will come to the fore again, this legislation has stalled many times. The perception or reality of apartheid and occupation is not going away.

Thank you again for your video.
