Can Jews be Antisemitic?

From the Middle Ages until the present day, there are plenty of examples of Jewish people perpetuating antisemitism, despite being Jews themselves.

Nothing new but too often self hating is a label wrongly used

For sure as per your examples there have always been Jews who are used willingly by enemies of the Jewish people and today the Jewish State but it seems to me that doesn't always translate into antisemitism. I hear people throw around self hating so often that it loses any meaning. Are Satmar Hasidic Jews and more so Naturi karta who cozy up to Iran and denounce the existence of the Jewish State antisemitic? J Street? George Soros? All those in my opinion are hurtful to Jews and the Jewish mission but are they antisemitic? Self hating?

Very, very sad behavior. Of course, I've heard of this before. I didn't know about Donin. In our day, how about Noam Chomsky? He should keep his mouth SHUT!

Excellent and evenhanded

I am aware of this history. Of course, there are people who believe anti Semitic propaganda because they have never been educated to understand their heritage. I have recently connected through DNA with long lost relatives. Some are Jews (children of a Jewish mother) and while not anti-Semitic, they are nominally Catholic because the in-laws insisted. I am trying to share as much Jewish tradition with them as possible so they can make an informed decision. And some from the Holocaust generation, including members of my husbands family, assimilated because they feared anti-semitism even after leaving Europe. Being hidden saved them in the 1940’s and I know many wanted to be able to do that again if necessary.

Noah didn't speak up

Think if you see something wrong no matter whom it is doing it then you have to speak up and speak out. I give out yards to Ireland and the Irish all the time in blogs and comments under my own name when I see stuff that is wrong. Doubt anyone listens to my blatherings in a positive light certainly the reception is eh let's say indifferent to hostile but that means nothing.

Being called 'self-loathing' by others is infinitely less worse than being loathsome to oneself because one fears others loathing one for speaking what one honestly believes to be truth to power and to wrongfulness.
Don't let anyone tell you otherwise.

Noah was a good guy in a naughty world but he didn't bother his head trying to change it he just made sure he was above it and the consequences that flooded in; which didn't work out so well for him in the end either. Being three sheets to the wind - whether drunk on wine or self-righteous and indignant isolation - atop Mt Ararat or an ivory tower or crow's nest on a mast is still a precarious position and helps nobody nor is it treating one's neighbours as one would wish to be treated. Need to shout warnings and fair criticism is imperative. Whether heeded or not is irrelevant. Same as giving alms to someone down on their luck. Not your concern whether they use them to buy booze or food. You have to give regardless.

The Jewish Essence

I modestly feel and think that the Jewish Essence given by Hakkadosh Baruch 'Hou is to do from their's life a way to reach the Kedusha which Hashem wants from each one of us. The way is that : follow the Sacred Tora as the guide to our lifes, and doing that by sure all of us is in the way to do mitzvot during our days in this world. It happens, unhappily , that many jewish don't think that Mitzvot are so important and they seem to believe that to feel " free" is throwing away the most precious help and strenght : the Tora, the book of Life. It is so sad , just the thought to live like atheists, it is precisely against the Life prepared to us by the Blessed Saint , our Creator and Kung. If someone run away from the Tora and the Eternal Light is so very sad that all the tears can not relieve that pain. Them who choose to be against their brothers they choose the miserable condition of idolaters. May Hashem in His Magnificent Misericordy help them to return to the Family choosen by G.d from all peoples in the world. May we pray and be humble and grateful to our Creator and happy to feel His Power and Command over our heads. Amen ve Amen.

Sadly true.

I have found many Jewish people to be among the worst antisemites. Hateful and vindictive to their brethren. Even with half a brain, these Jews should know better, but alas, describing them as having half a brain is an oxymoron.

On an unrelated note, I respectfully ask the videographer to stop these side head views. They are not becoming and look unnatural.
