Do Jews Cause Antisemitism?

A shockingly large number of people believe that Jews cause themselves to be hated. Here's why this claim is so egregiously wrong – logically, historically, and morally.

This justification is as old as Haman and Mordecai....
The real reason is because Jews put G-d first.
And yes, as in Esther, the powers-that-be, may sign decrees
May seal decrees....
But we are delivered.

Church leaders are major cause of Jew Hating Racism

Pls say Jew Hating Racism, not anti-Semitism. For centuries, church leaders have wanted Jews to disappear b/c Jews undermine their religion by not accepting their Messiah, who is Jewish! They cannot explain this paradox, hence forced conversions and annilation, from Crusades, to expulsion from Spain & Portugal, to progroms and the Shoah to the current demonizing the State of Israel. How very un-Christian to preach brotherly love and tolerance while stabbing Jews in the back. This must be addressed.

Do Jews Cause AntisemitisJm?

I agree with the author/speaker. Jews do not cause antisemitism. I don't understand the hatred that people have for each other - Jews, Muslims, Christians Sometimes this hatred is inflamed by individuals, groups, the media, etc. who have an agenda. I think that people that hate are either mentally ill or have an emotional problem.

the entire article is analytically reasonable.

Although the real reason for antisemetism is brought down in the Torah itself: הלכה היא שעשו שונא ליעקב. Translated: It is a ruling that Aisov - who represents the entire Gentile world will forever HATE Jacob, who represents the JEWISH Nation. This is how G-d set up the world, so that the Gentiles will live in peace with Jews - so long as the Jews abide by the laws of G-d's TORAH. The moment they stop keeping the laws of the TORAH, the Gentiles turn againt us in the form of wars, terrorism, anti- semetism, discrimination, hate, abuse etc.....

In modern times

While the video is very good in correcting and explaining historical anti-Semitism, it does not address current situations in some areas. I live in an area that is heavily chassidic and haredi. . There are multiple problems with the communities and their neighbors. Schools, housing and other building are built first, questions asked later.... not built to code with multiple safety violations, or.. an abandoned building now housing a school. If the county inspectors issues summons and fine, the community screams " antisemitism ". Wanting ( and trying with no permits ) to build housing in areas that are not meant for high deinsity dwelling do to roads, sewage and drainage issues... but if the state says " no"... again.. they scream " antisemitism "
Schools do not teach anywhere near the state required curriculum ( while getting state funding). The boys get a 5th grade education, barely know English, cannot do basic math, and forget about history, science , social studies or job training... only Talmudic studies. Hence a very high rate of unemployment, welfare, medicaid etc. Again.... if the state comes in... they scream " Antisemitism".. while living off of the tax monies everyone else pays. We have had Haredi leaders publishing notices saying " Do not learn English " as this way you do not have to deal with " the enemy " .
These types of activities, do not generate good will, and yes... create anti-Semitism from both the non Jewish community as well as the more modern and secular Jews...
An unfortunate reality.

Short-sighted people who ignore basic safety rules are not found only in jewish communities but in all neighbourhoods.

Here, with virtually no jews in the community, we had people burnt alive because they thought they could just ignore urban planning, they had strong friends to allow them build without permits and as a result the firefighters could not access the place. Some people just do not understand the value of safety measures, even at cost of their own lives.

I don't think that undervaluing education is a characteristic of modern Jews. I see great advances in scientific work and most people know at least one foreign language. That must be a problem for religious schools which tend to focus more on religious topics. And some people exaggerate using religion to show off, most people don't even pay attention to them.

This imagined antisemitism is not the kind of hate they are talking about. There are still people who hate the jews with no apparent or valid reason. They are just committed in hating people they don't even know.
