Absolutely Astonishing!

The man was a rabid Jew Hater; found out he was Jewish and now fights (verbally) for Jews. How can it be that another person who feels such a strong, even overwhelming connection to Jews, takes a DNA test and discovers to their very great shock they have no Jewish ancestry? How can this be possible? There must be a Jewish connection. Only God knows what that Jewish connection is.

Only a DNA test doesn't make a person Jewish. In the case of Mr Szegedi, his grandmother was Jewish, he just didn't know it.
If someone feels an overwhelming connection to the Jewish people and wants to be part of them, then it is a process of conversion for that. the connection is in her/his neshama.
In another token, some people feel an enormous love , connection and respect toward the Jewish people, but they have their own belief and won't change it, and that is perfectly OK as well.

...that Jewish connection is G-D.!

How was his jew-hatred born?

We understand from the clip that he had to go and find a jew in Hungary, never having met one before - how are we to understand this? No experience with Jews and, yet, a rabid jew hater - does he explain this anywhere??

Dovid R, July 3, 2019 12:53 PM

that's exactly it!

Exactly! So much of antisemitism is bred out of ignorance, from swallowing what your environment or the media tells you - where there are no actual Jews to disprove it.

Sad how much falsehood the world contains.

Hello. It's interesting that you say he made aliyah. I googled this and found no references, but would really like to get an update on Mr. Szegedi since the movie was made. If you know more, please share.
