Thank you for the New Perspective

Thank you for a stimulating and meaningful perspective on Rosh Hashanah. This commentary works whether we are praying alone or with others in this year of Covid. Good Yom Tov; Git pontiff; Chag Sameach.

They allow 15 year old rabbis?

You don't look a whole lot older today! Mazel tov!

New Year Idea: Take 10 (ten) Minutes Outside / Daily? (Mel Robbins video)

Dear Rabbi Sytner, thanks for your great advice. But HOW can we change?
==========================================================

Something I started to do, recently, is take the advice of Mel Robbins:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GQmr-eF9i0E (When stressed go outside)

It turns out I live about 3 short blocks from a wonderful park, in Rochester, NY.
This park has a pond, playing fields, and a hill with a reservoir on it.

I go by the park, daily, without stopping there, but this video woke me up.
Now, I focus on BEING at the park for 10 minutes, or so. I walk around and
I try to appreciate kids playing, birds flying, etc.

I keep my distance, but I use hand signs to greet people. I feed the birds.

(Habits are hard to make and hard to break. I have not seen much on Aish.com
or other Jewish sites, in habits, relaxation, and being outside)

Perhaps, you can comment on this being outside idea...
Much Thanks Harry www.SavingSchools.org
