You don't need to buy the book. You can look up your Hebrew birthdate on kaluach. Download the kaluach calendar from

However, if you were born at night, you need to know the time and find out when sunset or צאת הכוכבים was that day to see if your Jewish birthdate is the one marked that day or the next day, since the Hebrew day starts in the evening, not right after midnight.

Re. Lori the book you displayed was compiled by Dr. Arthur Spier

Thanks for the video.
Dr. Arthur Spier, zt"l (obm), was a Talmid Chacham (Torah scholar) and scientist and was very close to both my wife and myself. He taught us Math and Science in Yeshiva Rabbi Samson Raphael Hirsch’s (aka Breuers) in Washington Heights, respectively, Beth Jacob (Girls' HS) and Mesivta (Boys' HS). We both kept up with him after graduation.
He also founded the Manhattan Day School and headed the Talmud Torah (religious school) of the Spanish-Portuguese Synagogue.
He was multifaceted. He once told me that on the High Holydays he used 3 Machzorim (prayer books): Spanish-Portuguese where he prayed, Frankfurt (Main) which used the Western German rite and Hamburg which used the Eastern German one.
