Thanks for bringing back the "old" Lori

Thank you so much for cleaning up all the extraneous material you added to Lori's presentation, and returning to the "pristine" old Lori.

Dear Lori,

I have a fitbit, and walk, but not 10000 steps. It's a bit much for me right now. But, can those steps (5000) count for this fundraiser? Or must it be 10K every single day???

health/trackers sabbath

BTW I want to point out that one can not wear a tracker on sghabbat... but if you track daily it is easy to estimate on shabbat. I wear a fitbit daily except shabbat. Walking has changed my life as well as increased my health.

Walking to Shul on Shabbat and the various Yom Tovim is a most precious experience. I LOVE running into my Jewish neighbors, as it makes me feel like we all belong to one family!

Walking is great!

I walk to work each day and it takes me over an hour. But it is my cardio exercise for the day, and it doesn't feel like exercise because it has another purpose - getting me to work :P And I get to look around and notice things that are going on around me. It also saves money because I would otherwise have to pay to get the train to work. My husband and I also go for walks around the neighbourhood quite often, and we have started going for walks in other suburbs so we can look at the different houses and such :) It's a nice activity to do together to keep our bodies and relationship healthy :)
