So Nice to See this Video

I sure did not get this fully when I first saw it. t made me cry.
3 operations later and the joy of feeling grateful. I remind myself to try harder to be grateful, if I don't compare myself I have so so much to be grateful for. I also remind myself that Hashem knows me when I don't know myself and some days I really am doing much better. Will see the video again tonight B"H.

Beautiful, well done, I write through tears, lovely.

Something else to be grateful about!

While visiting my youngest son and his three daughters in Australia, I was grateful the other day talking on the phone with my oldest son in NY and my daughter and kids in Florida while being next to my youngest son here in Aussie... This was one of the best day!

These videos are very effective and succinct in conveying the important message. - to be thankful , optimistic and grateful. And to EXPRESS it through BRACHAS blessings and in our own words TALKING TO G-D throughout the day !

It is crucial to be grateful for the blessings we already have in our lives. Thank you for reminding me of this message. It cannot be repeated often enough, IMO.

Thank you...

Thank you for this beautiful reminder...I truly needed to see these words and be reminded of all the blessings that we have recei ved of late. The love of my life, David, had a heart attack a few days ago, he is now fighting for his life. Last night I suppose the enormity of our situation and that of our families, hit me like a wall of darkness and I felt so very down and scared and...overwhelmed. All I did was wander about our home and cry. Feeling guilty for feeling that way and thinking the thoughts that were tumbling through my head, while he is lying there in his hospital bed. I have always been one to say "it could always be worse", when confronted with any situation...for a moment, it seems, I had forgotten my own words. Thank you for reminding me that G-d is with us in the darkness and in the light and that it could definitely always be worse!

This was such a good reminder. I was just feeling so down about my life, saying that there is no point in my living this life anymore... and here comes proof how much good Hashem put into my life! Thank you for always showing us the good!

Count Your Blessings!!!

There is NO end to the gratitude list.....just start with the sunrise and go on from there each day! Thank you!!!

(27) eva, November 23, 2011 2:46 AM

the purpose of reciting 100 blessings a day

is meant to awaken us to appreciate the many things that we take for granted each day.

Good Reminder...

Thank you & good job !!!

(25) Rob Manne, November 21, 2011 8:52 PM

an important message that too many of us secular folks forget

Good marketing would suggest a stronger call to action at the end. What do we want people to do? If it's daven, then include information on davening or a link to a resource...BTW aish.com has been doing an amazing job. I loved loved loved the Exodus/social media video, and the Rosh Hashanah breakdancing one was pretty cute too. Keep it up!

Put is into perspective

I was just laid off from my job. A job I love. I have been upset and crying (yes crying). I don't have children to support. I don't have massive debt. I don't have house payments. Still, I felt like a failure. G-d words in mysterious ways. Yes, I have lost my job and I am grumbling but I never had to spend a day in a concentration camp. I have no disease such as cancer. I can see and I can hear. I may have problems and I may be out work and jobs are hard to come by but I have a roof over my head and I still have friends. Seeing this video today made me G-d is there and is telling me its ok to grumble but keep it in perspective. Life is not over. A new chapter is just beginning. If suvivors can be released from concentration camps and survive....then I can survive a job loss in the United States. It might not keep me from shedding a tear or two about my own plight but it will perhaps keep those tears at one or two and not a flood. The pity party I have been having for myself will probably not be a pity moment. Thank you Aish. Thank you G-d. I needed to see this today...right now and here it was. Ari

Hang in there!

G-D never closes one door without opening another one. I have been there too! Read the Psalms, and pray to our merciful G-D.

frustration does not equal lack of gratitude

Personally, I dislike messages like this. I hear the message as, don't complain, at least you have a house, job, kids, etc... Just because I grumble about my job, doesn't mean I don't appreciate the fact that I *have* one. I'm not allowed to have moments of frustration, because at least I have what someone else doesn't? The message should be to keep it in perspective. Just because my kids didn't listen to me for the 500th time today doesn't mean they'll NEVER listen to me.I don't love my kids because someone else doesn't have children or doesn't get to see their children. I'm not going to appreciate my job just because someone else doesn't have one. I'm going to appreciate my job because it fulfills me, or puts food on the table, pays for my kids' education. And if I'm frustrated and want to complain about something, I should make sure my complaint isn't empty, find a solution, ensure that my complaint doesn't turn into something bigger than it really is. I shouldn't have to worry about whether or not I can even be frustrated because someone else doesn't have a job to be frustrated about. I can feel for others, feel gratitude for the gifts that I have AND still have moments where I feel frustrated and want to gripe.

Don't get lost in the difficult moments

You're right, people do have the right to have moments when they feel overwhelmed and frustrated. The point is, unless there is something overwhelmingly wrong or difficult, they should just be moments, not the basis for your life. Moments of frustration or difficulty are often what make us stronger and more determined to go on. They build us into better human beings. It's when you let your difficulties define you or your life that you lose perspective, and the understanding of the value of life, and miss out on the truly beautiful moments that make life worthwhile.

Thank GOD for the smiles, laughs, dances, and the unforgetable memories with the most wonderful family on earth. Material things are unseen when you have all the faith, love and understanding.

100 blessings one should i be grateful

Thank you very much for summarizing so well the bountiful blessings of Hashem in our lives. Yasher koach. PS: Can I have these phrases in writing, I would like to translate them in Spanish and French for my friends to understand

(19) Rachel, November 16, 2011 5:16 AM

Just be grateful of what you have today, and think of those who may have no tomorrow because their life expired today. My job was working with disaster relief and I am grateful for everyday Hashem give us. Indeed we are Blessed Shalom

It's so important to look at the big picture and see things in their proper perspective. This video so touchingly gets that idea across. I loved watching it and listening to its music.

(15) Shlomo, November 15, 2011 7:20 PM

We are truly blessed

After visiting Yad Vashem and Masada recently, I can truly say, life is like a walk in the park. We sometimes have to be careful where we walk, but life is, B"H, good.

very meaningful

I hope it gets translated into Hebrew so I can show my kids!

(11) Kmberly, November 15, 2011 2:39 PM

This is so beautiful! And it is so spot on! I think we all take so much for granted and moan and groan. Oh my I wonder what Hashem must think??? We are so ungrateful and if we would just take the time and look around us we are all so very blessed. We should be Praising Him even in our difficulty times. Thank you

(10) Alan, November 15, 2011 1:27 PM

Amazing, sad that we only appreciate what we have when we lose it

(9) Rafael, November 15, 2011 1:26 PM

Thank You

Thank you, Tribe Vibe, for a lovely blessing like this clip. And thank you to the composers and musicians who made the soundtrack that set the tone so nicely. I wept at that Mom coming home from the war - and at the joy in the faces of those men in the last photo. We have so much to be grateful for.

(6) Jeri, November 14, 2011 12:57 PM

Awesome, I now understand the purpose of blessings, to make ME feel blessed

(5) Rosen, November 14, 2011 12:41 AM

gratefulness vs. drama

This was a great video on why many of us ought to be more grateful for what we have and not feed our lives with so much drama...As the Mishnah famously pointed out "He who is rich is satisfied with his lot."

(4) Tonna Chavez, November 13, 2011 6:17 PM
